Nema is a group from CCMAR, UAlg, whose main objective is to collect information about new marine species, some with high invasive potential, which have been identified in the Algarve region.

Nema needed a logotype which included the same typeface and colour pallet as CCMAR logotype and, at least, one of the main exotic species found in Algarve. The final logo shows the most iconic species, Callinectes sapidus (blue crab), but the dynamic logo shows two other species as well: Thalassoma pavo (Ornate wrasse) and the jelly fish Catostylus tagi.
